Dillon Cassar began his new racing season in ideal fashion, claiming victory at the Attard 5K in 14:47, delivering exactly the performance he and his coach had targeted. Rather than chasing a specific time, Cassar approached the race as part of a larger training session, aiming for controlled effort and a sharp physical response and both objectives were met with confidence.
The Maltese athlete highlighted how well his legs reacted during the session, crediting his coach for the planning, consistency and belief that continue to shape his development. Cassar also expressed gratitude to his family, friends and athletes, many of whom achieved personal bests during the same event.
