Young Gaza Victim Takes First Steps In Malta After 18 Months Of War

Prime Minister Robert Abela has shared a heartwarming update on Ibrahim, a young boy from Gaza who arrived in Malta for medical treatment after being injured during the conflict.
“After 18 months spent in the war in Gaza, Ibrahim, whom we welcomed to our country for care, has today taken his first steps,” Abela wrote.
Reflecting on Ibrahim’s story and those of other children affected by conflict, Abela said it strengthens his determination for Malta to continue supporting peace efforts.
He extended his best wishes to Ibrahim and other young patients, while expressing gratitude to Malta’s medical professionals for their dedication and care.
