In a Facebook post it-temp Madwarna warning on the high temperatures, saying, Malta experienced its hottest day of the year so far yesterday, with temperatures reaching a maximum of 29°C — around 4°C above the seasonal average for mid-May.
The warm and sunny conditions were driven by a light southerly wind, making it feel more like summer than spring. However, this brief heatwave is expected to ease slightly in the coming days.
From Wednesday 21st May, temperatures are forecast to dip slightly as cloud cover increases across the islands. Showers are possible on Friday 23rd May, and the weekend is expected to be windier, particularly in exposed areas.
