Xlendi Hit By Flooding During Yesterday’s Evening Storm

Yesterday evening, September 24th, the Maltese islands were hit by a massive storm, which saw heavy downpour, lightning flashes and flooding in some areas.
One of the areas most hit was Gozo’s Xlendi, with local Ramona Mercieca sharing photos and videos of the severe flooding that hit the area.
Vehicles could be seen partly submerged in the flooding that hit the seaside area, with Xlendi being known as one of the areas around the islands to be most impacted by such weather phenomena.
