Xgħajra Summer Celebration By The Sea With Elementi Sajfin

The Xgħajra Local Council is set to host a summer event on Saturday, 26 July. Titled Elementi Sajfin, the event aims to unite families and the wider community for an evening of entertainment by the Mediterranean Sea.

The details were announced by the Parliamentary Secretary for Local Government, Alison Zerafa Civelli, together with the Mayor of Xgħajra, Neil Attard. The event will be held in the area known as Tal-Milord, along Dawret ix-Xatt in Xgħajra, with the sea providing a picturesque backdrop for the occasion.

The programme will run from 6.00 p.m. until midnight and will feature performances from Fabrizio and Claudia Faniello, local singer Giosue Agius, and the Xgħajra-based dance troupe Street Elements. The evening will also include performances by artists Liston and DJ Sheron, the Project Band, and violinist Fiorini. Food and drink will be available from the Xgħajra Scouts group throughout the event.

Parliamentary Secretary Zerafa Civelli described the event as part of a wider series of initiatives being supported by the central government through a scheme managed by the Local Government Directorate. She emphasised that attention is being given to the standard of the events being delivered.

Mayor Neil Attard thanked the government for its support and encouraged Xgħajra residents to take part, while inviting visitors to enjoy what the locality has to offer.
