X Factor Malta has officially announced its return for this October, and it’s promising to be a special edition of the beloved singing competition.
Season 5 will be a ‘Back To Win’ Season, which makes it a first in the X Factor World.

It will feature artists who participated in the previous four seasons who will now get their second chance at trying to get the title of X Factor Malta Winner.

In a video shared to Love Island Malta’s official Instagram, Evelyn and Matthew, this year’s Season 3 winners, were asked if they would have split the prize if it came down to it.

Filmed at the National Lottery, who provided the prize for the winners, the couple played out what would have been their decision if asked to split it live during the finale.
Evelyn explained that they would split the prize and invest it so that they could double it and then double it again.

Malta’s Eurovision 2025 representative Miriana Conte has just unveiled the title of her new song: ‘Għajjejt (i8)’.
The title is another word play on a Maltese word, għajjejt, which means ‘I’m tired.’
However, as one of her Instagram swipes rightly explains, the way it is pronounced sounds like someone saying ‘I ate’, which has become an iconic exclamation of approving someone’s ‘serve’.
