Woman Critically Injured In Attard Traffic Incident

This morning, at around 7:15am, police were informed of a traffic accident in Triq l-Imdina, Ħ’Attard.
Police officers immediately went on site, where preliminary investigations revealed that a 29-year-old woman from San Pawl il-Baħar had been hit by a Mazda Demio driven by a 28-year-old woman residing in Rabat.
A medical team was called to the scene, and the victim was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. She was later certified as having sustained serious injuries.
Magistrate Dr Antoine Agius Bonnici LL.D. has launched an inquiry into the case, while police investigations are ongoing.
