Woman At Risk Of Losing Her Life Following Traffic Accident

Yesterday, at around 1:15 pm, police were informed of a traffic accident at Xatt Pinto, Floriana.
A 57-year-old German woman sustained serious injuries.
Officers attended the scene immediately, and preliminary investigations revealed that the woman was struck by a Toyota Ractis driven by a 52-year-old man from Ħaż-Żabbar.
UPDATE:
Police have reported that the 57 year old German woman who was hit by a car in Floriana has unfortunately passed away whilst at Mater Dei Hospital.
The woman had been struck by a Toyota Ractis driven by a 52 year old man from Ħaż-Żabbar.
She sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital via ambulance. unfortunately, she passed away due to her injuries.
