It’s not everyday that you hear a beat made out of a supermarket cash register but, being the musical wizard he is, Red Electric keyboardist and songwriter Aleandro Spiteri Monsigneur actually made it happen.

No stranger to posting jam sessions on Instagram for his fans and friends, Aleandro came across the interesting noise made by PAMA supermarket’s cash register and decided to record it.
From then on, he transposed it, laid down a couple of chords, a beat and a spicy piano solo… and the rest is history. Echoing the likes of Charlie Puth and Marc Rebillet, the reel got quite a positive reception, with fans waiting for the musician’s next foley creation.
Which Maltese rapper should spit a verse on the beat?
