WATCH: Person stabbed in Birkirkara with suspect arrested

A stabbing was reported on Sunday evening in Birkirkara, with the suspect being allegedly arrested by authorities. The stabbing took place, according to police, at 7:30pm in Triq il-Wied, Birkirkara. The aggressor, reportedly a 30-year-old man from Qormi, fled the scene after stabbed a 27-year-old from Msida during an altercation.
As the victim is being treated at Mater Dei Hospital, the assailant was taken to the Police Headquarters in Floriana after a police conducted search led to his arrest. A police investigation is still ongoing, with Magistrate Victor Axiaq being appointed to the inquiry. This is a developing story.#MaltaDaily
