Posting to their Instagram page, Language School Agency ‘MaltaLovers’ slammed the mandatory quarantine system for travellers as a failure. The post revealed how 2 vaccinated girls all the way from Venezuela made their way to Malta after having paid for their English Course 6 months ago. After having spent the necessary 14 days in Rome before entering Malta, despite fully vaccinated and undergoing PCR testing, the hotel proved to be less hospitable.

Both accepting the entry requirements from Maltese authorities to enter Malta – which is spending €100 per night in a hotel, the students were treated to a hotel which was deemed in unfit capacity to take care of the tourists and offer a safe environment and stay.

The girls allegedly also allegedly paid €1500 for the 14 days, instead of the €1400 as indicated on the official website. The agency stated that the situation is already tough and that they should be the ones to take care of the quarantine process.
