Valletta Jeweller Frank Zampa Passes Away

Renowned Valletta jeweller Frank Zampa passed away on 24 August. Regarded as one of Malta’s foremost luxury jewellers, Zampa built a reputation for excellence, specialising in fine, certified diamonds and high-quality craftsmanship.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, 26 August at 9:00 a.m. at the Collegiate Parish Church of St Paul’s Shipwreck, Valletta.
Tributes have poured in following his passing. Former Opposition Leader Adrian Delia described Zampa as “a Valletta jeweller well known for his seriousness and dedication.” Dr Delia recalled a personal memory from his time as Party Leader, when Zampa had presented him with a gift and shared a few heartfelt words which he continues to treasure.
“Rest in peace, dear friend. My condolences to his children, relatives and friends,” Delia said.

Nationalist Party leadership contender Alex Borg also honoured Zampa’s memory, calling him “a man who loved our country and the Party, and above all a businessman of great integrity.” Borg noted how his visits to Zampa’s Valletta workshop often led to long discussions on current affairs.
“Rest in peace, Mr Zampa. I extend my condolences and sympathies to his family, relatives and friends,” Borg said.
St.Francis Church Valleta also paid tribute to Frank Zampa saying, “the Conventual Franciscan Friars of Valletta, extend our condolences to the Zampa family on the loss of their beloved Mr Frank Zampa, who earlier today passed into eternal life. He was a regular attendee of Mass in our church.”
Mr Zampa will be remembered not only for his craftsmanship and contribution to Malta’s luxury jewellery industry but also for his integrity, warmth, and devotion to his family, community, and country.
