Universal Air To End All Scheduled Flights On 31st May

Universal Air has announced it will be halting all scheduled flight operations from 31st May 2025, with the final services operating on 30th May.
The airline has begun informing affected passengers directly, and full refunds are being processed automatically — with no action required from customers. Refunds are expected to appear in customers’ accounts within three to five working days.
The decision comes as Universal Air shifts focus towards its growing Charter and ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance) services, signalling a change in strategy just over a year after it launched several new direct routes to popular destinations.
Some of these routes, including those to Ibiza, Corfu, and Pécs, were exclusive to the airline.
While the airline expressed deep regret over the inconvenience, it reaffirmed that the move aligns with long-term business goals aimed at enhancing bespoke aviation services for clients.
In its public communication, Universal Air extended its gratitude to customers for their support and apologised for the disruption caused.
Though scheduled passenger flights will end, Universal Air remains operational through its charter offerings and ACMI partnerships, continuing to serve corporate and specialist travel needs.
The company has assured customers that all affected bookings are being handled promptly, with transparency and minimal hassle.
