Italian maestro Jorginho is said to be the favourite as he helped not only his club Chelsea win the Champions League, but was also pivotal in Italy’s journey to Euros stardom. Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is also said to have a chance as he helped his side Manchester City win another Premier League and Carabao Cup duo but was rather lackluster for Belgium in the Euros, making it to the quarter-finals. French defensive midfielder N’Golo Kante undoubtedly has a chance too. He was the engine in Chelsea’s UCL winning team, running everywhere and covering all the ground. Like De Bruyne, N’Golo’s success in club football didn’t emulate itself with his country France, as they were surprisingly knocked-out against Switzerland in the Round of 16.
