‘Battling rough seas has always been our forte. #truthwillprevail’

The post racked up a whopping 1.5K reactions.

This marks the first instance in Maltese political history where a former prime minister will stand trial for criminal charges. The charges stem from a deal involving the privatisation of three state hospitals negotiated during Muscat’s tenure, which was subsequently annulled by a court last year.

Muscat, Mizzi, and Schembri are accused of various crimes, including money laundering and bribery, with potential sentences of up to 18 years in jail and fines of up to €2.5 million if convicted. Prosecutors allege they received bribes from David Meli, a lawyer representing hospital concessionaires.

Ireland’s Eurovision Entry ‘Doomsday Blue’ Sticks Out

Ireland's Eurovision Entry 'Doomsday Blue' Sticks Out
May 8 2024 Share

Ireland’s Eurovision 2024 entry was one of the ten semi-finalists who made it to the finale this year – and suffice to say it drew a lot of opinions.

Bambie Thug, the 31 year old singer, delivered a unique performance of ‘Doomsday Blue’ – with the song having drawn both massive praise but also criticism.

During composition, with Bambie composing alongside Olivia Cassy Brooking, Sam Matlock and Tylr Rydr, it was revealed that the aim was to mix alternative rock, pop and jazz. They also describe it as ‘an electro-metal breakdown’.

Many are vouching for ‘Doomsday Blue’ to win this year, touting Lordi’s victory with ‘Hard Rock Hallelujah’ back in 2006 given its uniqueness within the contest.

However, others, mainly conservative opinions, critiqued the song’s symbolism, with some from Ireland even petitioning to have the song disqualified.

How about you? What do you think of the song?

The feud is listed to have started on March 22nd, 2024 and has now been going on for 1 month, 2 weeks and 2 days.

The parties include Drake, allied by J Cole (until April 7th – the page specifies), Kendrick Lamar, with the latter having a whole list of allies.

These include Future, Metro Boomin, The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, Rick Ross and Kanye West.

The page also goes into the history of the two’s interactions together, starting all the way back in 2011 for Drake’s album ‘Take Care.’
