Maltese authorities investigate Italian mafia suspect planning to launder billions
The Maltese Financial Crimes Investigation Department are investigating an Italian national who is suspected to be planning to launder billions for mafia associates.
Roberto Recordare owns two companies in Malta; Recordare Holdings and Golem Malta Ltd.
Italian police confirmed that wire taps captured Recordare making fun of Daphne Caruana Galizia’s death.

612Kgs of cocaine found by Malta Customs; Largest drug bust ever
The customs in Malta have seized 612kgs of cocaine which left Ecuador and transited to Colombia and were on the way to Libya.
The seized cocaine amount to a street value of €69 million. The cocaine was hidden in pallets carrying cooking oil.
Maltese customs found discrepancies in the scanned images and searched the cargo physically.
