Prince, 27, shared a photo of his dad performing at the 1993 Super Bowl halftime show, writing, “Miss you pops. The world felt better with you in it.” Jackie Jackson, 73, posted a nostalgic image of their early career, expressing disbelief at the 15 years without Michael.

Tito Jackson, 70, shared a black-and-white portrait, adding heartfelt hashtags. Tito’s son TJ, 45, also paid tribute, calling Michael an eternal source of strength and love.

Michael Jackson, who would have been 65, died from cardiac arrest caused by a fatal combination of drugs, leading to Dr. Conrad Murray’s conviction for involuntary manslaughter in 2011.

A biopic featuring his nephew Jaafar Jackson is in development. Michael’s children—Prince, Paris, and Bigi—continue to uphold his legacy. Prince regularly listens to his father’s music, appreciating its reflection of Michael’s personality.

Ċirkewwa Terminal Road Project Completed

Ċirkewwa Terminal Road Project Completed

The infrastructure project on Triq il-Marfa leading to the Ċirkewwa Terminal has been completed. The project aimed to better organize and facilitate traffic around the terminal by establishing a continuous lane for cars heading to Gozo from the Armier roundabout.

Infrastructure Malta also conducted necessary maintenance during the project. With a €7 million investment, the project ensures better access for workers, public transport, and emergency vehicles, without closing access to the terminal.

This upgrade addresses the traffic congestion of the past 13 years, which affected public and emergency services.

Minister Chris Bonett emphasised the project’s success in reducing traffic congestion and enhancing the area’s infrastructure, benefiting all users. The project spans 2.5 kilometres and includes new safety structures, improved lighting, and expanded cyclist lanes.

The work, started in mid-February, was completed as promised before the summer season. The new design of the road eliminates cross-traffic and includes a new lighting system and increased safety measures.

Cyclists were also considered, with the expansion of certain areas of the existing bike lane from the Marfa roundabout to Ċirkewwa. The project began in mid-February and was completed as promised before the start of the summer season.
