Thousands Turn Up For Annual Puttinu Cares Night Walk

Thousands of people participated in the 20th edition of the ‘Puttinu Cares Good Friday Night Walk’, showing strong support for cancer patients and their families.

The walk began at midnight from the Mellieħa Parish Square and ended at the Granaries in Floriana, covering around 17km across the Maltese island.All funds raised go directly to Puttinu Cares, which provides vital support and financial assistance to patients undergoing cancer treatment, particularly those needing care abroad.

The annual walk, now in its 20th year, continues to grow in popularity, uniting the Maltese community in a meaningful act of solidarity each Easter.

For those wishing to donate, donations can still be made through the Puttinu Cares website and during today’s televised fundraising marathon.
