Valletta’s streets came alive last night as thousands of locals and tourists flocked to the capital for Notte Bianca 2025, a night celebrating Malta’s rich culture, art, and creativity.

The event featured over 70 performances and installations across music, theatre, dance, and visual art, with more than 350 local and international artists taking part.

Minister for Culture, Lands and Local Government Owen Bonnici said the event gave people “the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of our capital city, its streets steeped in history, its majestic bastions and palaces, all in a festive atmosphere full of colour, music, spectacle and food.”

He thanked Festivals Malta for its continued work in organising the event each year.

Parliamentary Secretary Alison Zerafa Civelli praised the participation of families and tourists, noting the important collaboration between the Valletta Local Council and Festivals Malta in making the festival a success.

Festivals Malta Chairman Aaron Zahra described this year’s edition as another strong example of the organisation’s “commitment to high-quality events,” while CEO Frans Agius and Artistic Director Antoine Farrugia both expressed pride in the overwhelmingly positive public response.

The next edition of Notte Bianca will take place on Saturday, 3rd October 2026.
