Dance Beyond Borders, a foundation that unites people through dance and the arts will be hosting their third edition of Refugee Week Malta this June. This festival is the local version of the world’s largest arts and culture festival which celebrates the creativity, contributions, and resilience of people seeking sanctuary.
The third edition of this festival will be held from the 14th till the 23rd of June with the theme issued by Refugee Week UK of Our Home. Various organisations, public entities, and individuals who work in the fields of Art and Culture, Migration and Environment. The festival’s programme features a wide range of events split into four stands: Performance, Conference, Film, and Participate. These individuals will be coming together to curate events exploring this theme and how we can practice solidarity, allowing us to explore the meaning of our own home and how we can make it a more welcoming safe space for all.
