As if Dwayne Johnson isn’t already an all-rounder, ‘The Rock’ has made his official rap debut with guest vocals on a new Tech N9ne track. The 49-year-old rocked the wrestling world and then headed into Hollywood to pursue an acting career. He quickly became a fan favourite and starred in some massive blockbusters. And now he’s branching out into the rap game with a verse on ‘Face Off.’
The song is part of Tech N9ne’s new album ASIN9NE, with Johnson heading to Twitter to tease the new song. He wrote; ‘Pumped (& humbled) to drop MY 1ST RAP SONG with my brothers, the GOAT @TechN9ne’ et al. This isn’t the Rock’s first introduction to the music game as he had previously appeared on Wyclef Jean’s 2000 song ‘It Doesn’t Matter’, but only shouted his titular catchphrase rather than actually rapping. But now the Rock is making some more serious moves in the music industry and who knows – maybe we’ll get an album by him someday.
