The Malta Gladiator Trail airs tonight and we’re excited!

The Malta Gladiator Trail will be airing tonight at 8:30 PM on ONE TV, and we’re hyped up! The Trail is an obstacle course competition where contestants will be competing for a cash prize.

The Obstacle course is made to test one’s boundaries when it comes to both physical and mental strength. Progression through the trial will mean higher difficulty when it comes to obstacles and the trial is always timed.

The Malta Gladiator Trail is aiming to help people push their boundaries as well as to promote a healthy lifestyle.

We know we’re excited to watch this sports event and we’re sure it’s going to keep us on our toes!

In a nod to the Health Ministry’s change in daily update format, Avotaco have published an endearing infographic in the same light, highlighting numbers related to the consumption of their food.

Power cuts expected in these localities today due to Enemalta works

Due to planned works on Malta electricity grid, Enemalta have reported that certain localities may experience electricity supply disruptions in particular localities on January 19.

The localities listed on their website are Pieta, Mosta, Zejtun, Marsaxlokk, San Gwann, Qormi, Ta’ Xbiex, Zebbug, Msida, Birkirkara and Rabat, Gozo.

WHO Director fears ‘moral catastrophe’ with regards to global distribution of COVID-19 vaccines

World Health Organisation Director General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus opened this year’s executive conference with heavy words of fear of the world being on the brink of a moral catastrophe with regards to the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines.

Dr. Tedros expressed concern with wealthy nations disregarding the needs of the less-fortunate countries stating that “the price of this [moral] failure will be paid with lives and livelihoods in the world’s poorest countries”.

He went on to call for the just distribution of COVID-19 vaccines regardless of the countries’ wealth so that citizens do not suffer due to the their nations’ lack of financial fortitude.
