Beyond being a beloved staple of American television, Fox’s hit sitcom That ’70s Show became somewhat of a cult classic and Netflix seems to be bringing it back to life with a spinoff sequel called That ’90s Show.

The streaming giant has reportedly ordered 10 episodes of the show which will, as the name suggests, take place 20 years after the original series.

Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp will return as Eric Forman’s parents Red and Kitty with original creators Bonnie Turner and Terry Turner remain on board as writers and executive producers. A report by Deadline revealed that there are currently ‘no deals in place’ with stars of the original series to reprise but talk is circulating that Topher Grace, Laura Prepon and Ashton Kutcher may return to reprise their roles.

Food does not only affect physical health, but also mental health

Oct 10 2021 Share

Food and mental health go hand in hand and a bad diet does not only affect the physical aspects of one’s being but also the mental aspects.

The intestine, which is the body’s digestive system, is an extensive organ which few know the relevance to mental health. Practicing health psychologist Danica Cassar stated that anxiety, which is a common reaction, may be triggered by the digestive system.

Cassar stated that the stomach is like our ‘second brain’, with which we feel certain emotions and thus, there is communication between the brain and the stomach. This means that food and consumption may affect mental health, so excessively sugary food, excessive smoking and alcohol may decrease the bacteria within the stomach which protects us from being anxious, stress and upset.
