The Environmental Health Directorate has advised the public to avoid bathing at a specific site following a sewage overflow from private property cesspits into the sea.
While the overflow has stopped, it may have affected water quality and could pose a risk to health.

Officials are monitoring the area and investigating the incident in line with the Bathing Water Directive. Swimming is not recommended until tests confirm the water is safe.
