Steve Zammit Lupi Completes 4000KM Cycle Across Europe

Independent mayor of Żebbuġ and environmental activist Steve Zammit Lupi has successfully completed the gruelling NorthCape 4000 VIII, a 4,000km cycling challenge spanning eight European countries and finishing in Norway.

The endurance event began in Italy and concluded within the Arctic Circle. Zammit Lupi covered the entire distance in an impressive 18 days and 17 hours.

Sharing his achievement on Instagram, he wrote “I arrived soaking wet after a final day cycling in rain and fog. It was hard, but every pedal was worth it. Knowing Michela was waiting for me at the finish line made it even more special.”

Encouraging others to push their boundaries, he added “Create dreams and chase them. Challenge your comfort zone and explore the beautiful world around us. An experience I will cherish all my life.”

He concluded by thanking the NorthCape 4000 organisers and WheelWizard Malta for supplying the bike that helped him achieve this remarkable goal.
