In June 2024, there were 966 final deeds of sale and 1,080 promise of sale agreements for residential properties.

This marks a 2.9% decrease in final deeds compared to June 2023, with a total value of €243.9 million, down 4.9%. Individual buyers (households) accounted for 90.7% of these deeds, valued at €201.7 million.

The highest numbers of final deeds were in the Northern Harbour and Northern districts, with 274 and 212 deeds respectively, while the Western and Gozo and Comino districts had the lowest at 96 and 114.

San Pawl Il-Baħar, Il-Mosta, and Il-Mellieħa had the highest locality counts, totaling 17.4% of all deeds. Most transactions involved apartments (419) and garages (243).

For Q2 2024, 3,185 final deeds were registered, a 5.9% increase from the previous year, valued at €854.5 million, an 8.9% increase. San Pawl Il-Baħar, Il-Mosta, and Birkirkara led in deed counts.

In June 2024, 1,080 promise of sale agreements were registered, a 5.0% decrease from June 2023. Households made up 91.4% of these agreements.

The Northern Harbour district led with 336 agreements. San Pawl Il-Baħar, Birkirkara, and Tas-Sliema were the top localities, comprising 21.2% of agreements.

Q2 2024 saw 3,493 promise of sale agreements, slightly down from the previous year, with San Pawl Il-Baħar, Birkirkara, and Il-Mosta leading.

Kaċċaturi Mostin u Ħbieb have gathered a whopping €90,000 to donate to Puttinu Cares.

The charity organisation organised a massive ‘majjalata’ for the community and managed to gather the large sum for the NGO helping various people and children as they battle cancer.

Over 900 people attended the majjalata at Ġnien l-Għarusa tal-Mosta. Well done all!

Youth & Elderly Brought Together Through Theatre

Minister for National Heritage, Arts, and Local Government Owen Bonnici, along with the Parliamentary Secretary for Active Ageing, visited the Timeless Tales: A Theatre Project.

This initiative brings together children aged 8 to 15 and elderly individuals from Active Ageing Centres. Starting on July 1st, the project hosts theatre sessions every Monday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Central Public Library.

These sessions, led by theatre experts, cover various topics including scriptwriting, acting, and dancing.

The first session, held on Monday, July 1st, focused on ‘How to brainstorm and write a script’.

The sessions will continue until Monday, August 5th. The project will culminate in a theatrical production featuring all participating children and elderly individuals.

This final performance, open to the public, will take place on Monday, August 5th, at the Central Public Library.

Timeless Tales: A Theatre Project aims to promote diversity and inclusion by allowing children and the elderly to share their thoughts and ideas while working together for the community’s benefit.

The project is organized by Malta Libraries with support from the Directorate for Active Ageing and Community Care, and funded by APS Bank.
