After thousands of people descended upon St Julian’s to celebrate St Patrick’s Day, workers from Clean Malta, the Cleansing and Maintenance Division, took to the streets to clean up everything within a matter of hours.
As the party pushed into the early hours of Tuesday morning, workers were quick to act as the crowds dispersed.
As many rested, the streets were cleared of rubbish and cleaned as if nothing had ever taken place!
Clean Malta’s Director General Ramon Deguara reported that through serious investments into the best machinery and support, the streets were opened to traffic as quickly as possible.
Parliamentary Secretary Glenn Bedingfield also met with the workers, thanking them for their continuous efforts to keep the streets of Malta clean.
