Zurrieq Wolves HS Set for EuroHockey Club Challenge II Men 2026

Zurrieq Wolves HS Hockey Club will participate in the EuroHockey Club Challenge II Men 2026.

Between 21st and 24th May, Zurrieq Wolves HS HC will take part in the EuroHockey Club Challenge II Men tournament, which will be held in Toruń, Poland.

Placed in Pool B, Zurrieq Wolves HS will face Soroksari HC from Hungary, HC Siauliai from Lithuania, and Grammarians HC from Gibraltar. Depending on their final position in Pool B, they will then face a team from Pool A to determine the final overall rankings. Pool A includes Swansea HC (Wales), Valhalla Landhockey Club (Sweden), KS Pomorzanin Toruń (Poland), and Eagles HC (Gibraltar).

At a club event held at the Zurrieq Wolves ASC premises, Zurrieq Wolves HS President Dr Andrei Imbroll said that the club has done its best to make all the necessary preparations for the trip and expressed confidence that the players led by Argentinian coach Silvio Peralta would rise to the occasion and make the most of this participation.

The club also presented the official playing kits for the tournament, with Dr Imbroll thanking all sponsors for their support.
