Zurrieq Wolves Hotsticks Earn Thrilling Draw In Euro Hockey Club Challenge II Opener

Zurrieq Wolves Hotsticks began their Euro Hockey Club Challenge II campaign on a positive note after earning a 5-5 draw against Soroksari HC in a closely contested encounter.
Zurrieq showed great resilience throughout the match and consistently responded whenever their opponents took the lead. In the end, a draw was considered the fairest result for the efforts shown by both teams.
Young player Gary Bonnici produced an excellent performance and crowned it with two goals, while Christ Agius also scored twice. Alessandro Amore added another goal for his side.
The Hungarian team had Adam Losonci scoring twice, while Jacob Wiedmer, Dániel Garabics and András Hortobágyi scored a goal each.
Zurrieq play their second Pool B match today, when they face Lithuania’s HC Šiauliai at 1:15pm.
