Żurrieq Wolves Crowned Malta Road Running League 2025/2026 Champions

During the final leg of the Malta Road Running League at the S2P 5K, the Zurrieq Wolves Road Running team delivered an outstanding performance to secure overall 1st place in both the Male Team category and the Mixed Team category.

The winning male team was represented by:Jean Claude Randon, Rod Cilia, Joseph Borg, and Chris Micallef, with Matthew Xuereb, Aaron Buttigieg, and Luke Ferriggi abroad.

Among the highlights of the event, Gabriel Farrugia was crowned National Champion in both the 5K and 10K distances, while Isaura Camilleri was named National Champion in the 5K distance.

Zurrieq Wolves athletic club remarked that "this achievement marks the culmination of an extraordinary year for our road running squad," expressing pride in its athletes for their fantastic performances, and emphasising that "your dedication and effort throughout the season made this success possible."
