Żurrieq Wolves claim convincing fourth league win

Żurrieq Wolves secured their fourth win of the season after defeating Hibernians Veterans 9–4. It was a strong collective performance from the Wolves, who made the most of their chances, catching their opponents off guard multiple times.
In an exciting of 13 goals, Alexander Muscat was the standout player for Żurrieq, scoring four goals, while Mario Camilleri added another two for his side. Bjorn Bondin, Jonathan Pearson, and Kevin Vella also got on the scoresheet with one goal each.
Hibernians reduced the deficit through goals from Dylan Mercieca, Daniel Fodermayer, Luke Satariano, and Clayton Micallef.
This victory was also significant for Żurrieq Wolves as they leapfrogged Hibernians in sixth place.
The MFPA lead the standings with 31 points, as Floriana FC sit one point behind with 30 points in second place. Gżira United FC, Luxol St. Andrews, and Rabat Veterans possess 19, 18, and 16 points, respectively, while 12 point Żurrieq Wolves FC sit ahead of Hibernians FC Veterans with 10 points, and Birkirkara St. Helen with 8 points.
