Zero Sei Take First-Step Advantage In Women’s Championship Final

Zero Sei Futsal secured a crucial 4-2 victory over Luxol Argus in the opening final of the women’s championship, taking an important advantage ahead of the second clash on May 16.

The first final delivered an entertaining and high-intensity encounter, with both sides producing an exciting spectacle from start to finish. For Zero Sei, it marked their third final appearance of the season, but they were pushed all the way by a determined Luxol Argus side.

Zero Sei made the stronger start, taking an early lead through Robles from a free kick. Robles continued her outstanding display by adding a second goal soon after to hand her side a comfortable two-goal cushion.

Luxol Argus responded impressively, applying relentless pressure in search of a way back into the contest. Their efforts paid off when Zarb Cousin struck a superb long-range free kick to reduce the deficit, before Grech found the equaliser following sustained attacking pressure.

Just as Luxol looked to have seized momentum, Robles stepped up once again to complete her hat-trick shortly after Zero Sei had conceded, restoring her side’s advantage at a decisive moment.

Zero Sei regained control from there and, although the match remained competitive, Csik added a fourth goal to secure the win.

The result leaves Zero Sei just one victory away from being crowned champions, while Luxol Argus must win the second final to force a decisive third match.
