Maltese karting enjoyed a historic moment over the weekend as young driver Zane Pace delivered one of the strongest international performances ever recorded by a Maltese competitor at the WSK Master Series Round 3 in Viterbo.

Pace began the weekend in outstanding form, securing pole position in qualifying and immediately establishing himself among the top contenders. He carried this momentum into the prefinal, where he finished P1, confirming his pace against some of the best young drivers in Europe. In the final, Pace crossed the line in second place, an exceptional achievement at one of the most prestigious and competitive karting championships in the world.

The result also highlighted strong teamwork, with Pace congratulating his teammate Alfie Mair Racing for a successful weekend. He expressed pride in placing Tony Kart / Vortex Engines on the podium, praising the collective effort and professionalism of the entire team.
