Zachary Scerri Joins Birżebbuġa St. Peter's FC

Zachary Scerri has joined Birżebbuġa St. Peter's FC, bolstering the team's already impressive midfield department in Birżebbuġa's first ever Premier League campaign.

Zachary has won the league title twice, first with Hibernians in 2017, and most recently with Floriana after the greens beat Marsaxlokk 2-1 in the finalissima played on 16th May 2026.

Scerri is set to join an already decorated midfield containing renowned players such as former Gżira United teammates Jackson Mendoza and Luis Riascos, former Malta under 21 international Kurt Bondin, former Denmark under 21 international Rasmus Thellufsen, former Valletta and Birkirkara Shaun Dimech, and club captain Hubert Vella.

Scerri joins the squad ahead of the team's next league commitment against Żabbar St. Patrick Football Club, with the blues aiming to bounce back after falling to Floriana in their opening match.
