Young Rabat Ajax Debutants Receive Traditional Headshave From Team Mates

Rabat Ajax debutants Shayon Attard and Jerome Zarb had their heads shaved by their team mates as part of a traditional Maltese ritual.

The two youngsters payed the "price" that debuting with the senior team comes with, a sort of "baptism" for young players who make their first steps at senior level.

This is a ritual practiced by the Malta National Team, with various local clubs picking up the tradition in welcoming new players to the team.
