Coach Winston Muscat has officially announced his departure from Naxxar Lions, bringing an end to a two‑year tenure marked by notable progress and memorable moments. Under his guidance, Naxxar reached the FA Trophy semi‑finals and secured a top‑six finish in the Malta Premier League achievements Muscat described as positive, even if the club ultimately fell short of its primary objective.

In his parting message, Muscat expressed heartfelt thanks to those who supported him throughout the season, including President Adrian Fenech, Club Director Omar Borg, Team Coordinator David Vella, Team Manager Chris Macu Mangion, the technical staff, players and the loyal Naxxar Lions Supporters Club.
