Wife Of Late Diogo Jota Marks 1 Month Wedding Anniversary

Rute Cardoso, the wife of late Liverpool forward Diogo Jota, has marked what would have been their first month of marriage, three weeks after his tragic death in a car accident.
She shared photos from their wedding on 22 June, accompanied by the message “one month of our ‘until death do us part’,” adding that she was “forever” his.
Jota, aged 28, died on 3 July in Spain after the Lamborghini he was travelling in with his younger brother, Andre Silva, suffered a tyre blow-out and caught fire in Cernadilla, Zamora.
Since joining Liverpool from Wolves in 2020, Jota scored 65 goals in 182 appearances. He played a key role in helping the club win the FA Cup and League Cup in 2022, the League Cup again in 2024, and the Premier League title last season.
Liverpool have since retired his number 20 shirt and commissioned a mural near Anfield in his memory.
