Watch: Dillon Cassar Races At Midsummer Night Run

Watch Dillion Cassar racing at his club's Midsummer Night Run, taking to the streets in the middle of a training block with no taper and no specific race goal, just another opportunity to put some solid work into the legs.

Cassar shared that the conditions definitely made it interesting, with a “feels like” temperature of around 36°C at 8:45pm, high humidity, and a challenging course, yet argued that this is what makes these races fun.

He expressed satisfaction for taking the win with a gap of just over 5 minutes, yet shared that the most important thing was the opportunity to put in another solid training effort as he continues building towards what’s next.

He thanked his coach for the constant guidance and belief, while congratulating all the other athletes for putting together some fantastic and consistent performances throughout the summer season.
