The Futsal week in Malta delivered an action-packed schedule with surprises across both the men’s and women’s leagues.

In the men’s division, the University of Malta and Birżebbuġa St Peter’s maintained their dominance at the top with nine points each, following emphatic wins—University of Malta beating Marsaskala Futsal Legends 7–0 and Birżebbuġa cruising past Santa Venera Lightnings 8–1.

Sliema Futsal Fort Fitness celebrated their first victory of the season with a 5–1 triumph over the Malta FA U17 Selection, thanks to a standout performance from Brazilian Rodrigues Silva Leandro, while Zejtun Corinthians also secured their first win, edging their opponents 7–4. Marsaskala sits third with six points, followed by Luxol St Andrews, Sliema, and Zejtun on three points each, while U19 Selection, U17 Selection, and Santa Venera remain winless.

In the women’s league, Zero Sei Futsal surged to the top after a commanding 10–2 win over Parr Mela Rockets, capitalizing on St George’s thrilling 4–4 draw with Swieqi United. Luxol Sports Club Futsal Argus impressed with an 8–0 victory against St Andrews, strengthening their position among the top three. Zero Sei now lead with nine points, followed by St George’s on seven and Luxol Argus on six, while St Andrews, Swieqi United, and Parr Mela Rockets trail behind. Both leagues promise more drama and high-quality futsal in the coming weeks.
