The final round of fixtures of the year in Maltese futsal delivered an action-packed programme across both the men’s and women’s championships, confirming University of Malta Futsal and Zero Sei Futsal as the respective league leaders heading into the new year.

In the men’s championship, Santa Venera Lightnings Futsal celebrated their first victory of the season with an emphatic 8–2 win over Futsal Selection U19, building a commanding four-goal lead before the interval. University of Malta Futsal continued their dominant form with an 11–0 triumph against GŻR BIRŻEBBUĠA St. Peter’s Futsal, inspired by a five-goal performance from Argentine forward Cristian José Fernández. Luxol St. Andrews Futsal also remained unbeaten after registering a remarkable 17–4 victory over Żejtun Corinthians Futsal WA, with Brazilian striker Ferreira scoring five times. Meanwhile, Marsaskala Futsal Legends strengthened their grip on second place following a 9–3 win against Sliema Futsal Fort Fitness, with Schembri completing a hat-trick.

In the women’s championship, Parn Mela Rockets Futsal earned their first point of the campaign after fighting back from four goals down to draw 4–4 with St. George’s Futsal. Luxol Sports Club Futsal Argus maintained second place with a 4–1 victory over Swieqi United Futsal LECO7, while leaders Zero Sei Futsal closed the year in style with a dominant 9–0 win over St. Andrew’s Futsal.

Both championships now pause with clear leaders at the summit heading into the next phase of the season.
