TSG Hoffenheim made history by winning the first edition of the VisitMalta Women Club Trophy, finishing level on six points with Bundesliga rivals VfL Wolfsburg.
Both teams ended the tournament with a goal difference of +7, but Hoffenheim claimed the title by topping the scoring charts with eight goals.
