TOMMY WALLBANK CLAIMS SECOND PLACE IN U23 AT MILANO HALF MARATHON

Tommy Wallbank delivered an outstanding performance at the Milano 21 Half Marathon, his first international race, finishing 28th out of 8,734 participants and claiming 2nd place in the Under-23 category. Wallbank clocked 1:10:28, slightly off his target time, but still a remarkable achievement in challenging conditions.

Competing in -1°C temperatures added an extra layer of difficulty, yet Wallbank embraced the experience as a valuable learning curve. “It was a whole new challenge, and I’ll be better prepared next time,” he said after the race.

The result reflects months of hard work and dedication under the guidance of coach Fabio Spiteri and the support of Mellieħa AC. Wallbank expressed gratitude to his team and emphasized that this milestone is just the beginning of bigger goals ahead.
