Tim Cleasby And Maria Camilleri Sandu Appointed New Captains Of Royal Malta Golf Club

The Royal Malta Golf Club held its traditional Captains’ Drive-In ceremony, during which Tim Cleasby and Maria Camilleri Sandu officially took up their roles as Club Captain and Lady Captain respectively for the 2026/27 season.

In the presence of members, family, and friends, the two Captains performed their ceremonial opening drives to mark the beginning of their term in office.

The ceremony followed the Club’s Annual General Meeting, during which Chairman Paul Stoner presented the Club’s five-year vision, including clubhouse improvements, investment in modern machinery and further development of the golf course.

During the meeting, Susan Wibrew, Andrea Hamilton Hill and Kim Borg were also recognised as Honorary Members in appreciation of their contributions to the Club.
