Thea Parnis delivered a standout display at the Winter National Championships, rewriting the record books with a brilliant U20 National Record in the Senior 60m. Her time of 7.67 seconds earned her the silver medal and confirmed her status as one of Malta’s most exciting young sprinters. The performance showcased her explosive speed and composure against senior competition.

She carried that momentum into the 300m, where she stormed to gold in a superb personal best of 39.51 seconds, underlining her strength and versatility across sprint distances. Her achievements drew admiration from coaches, athletes, and supporters, marking the day as a proud milestone in her athletic journey.

Thea credited her success to the guidance of her coach, Rachid Chouhal of Rush Athletic Club, whose support has been central to her development. She also expressed gratitude to physiotherapist Karl Rizzo Naudi of The Physio Clinic for his ongoing care and expertise.
