Technical Staff Begin First Workday at New National Football Centre

The Malta FA’s technical sector staff marked an important milestone yesterday as they completed their first full workday at the newly inaugurated National Football Centre in Ta’ Qali. The move brings the entire technical department under one roof, allowing staff to make full use of the centre’s modern, purpose‑built facilities.

The new building is designed to function as the operational heart of Maltese football, enabling the complete logistical management of all national teams to be coordinated from a single location. This centralisation is expected to significantly enhance efficiency, streamline communication and strengthen collaboration across coaching, development and performance structures.

Staff members described the first day as a positive step forward, noting that the upgraded environment supports both day‑to‑day operations and long‑term planning.
