Tarxien Rainbows Manager Jacques Scerri Leaves The Club

Tarxien Rainbows manager Jacques Scerri has stepped down from his role after close to four seasons in charge of the blues.

Scerri recalled the team's promotion to the Premier League, arriving to the semi-finals of the Jubilee Cup, and the rainbow's courageous winning streak at the end of the season, with which they almost secured survival by forcing a relegation decider, yet fell short.

He thanked the president, committee members, his loyal assistants and members of technical staff who supported him through thick and thin, together with his players with whom he lived through many highs and lows.

Scerri concluded by thanking his family and all loyal supporters who were with him throughout his journey in charge of the blues.
