The Maltese artistic swimming club Synchro Knights has returned to Malta following a successful outing at the inaugural Spring Harmony International Meet held in Łódź between 6th and 8th March.

The competition brought together clubs from across Europe, offering young athletes valuable international experience. Representing Malta, Synchro Knights fielded a delegation of 21 swimmers competing in solo, duet, and team events across multiple age groups.

The team delivered strong performances, with the 12 & Under squad securing 2nd place in the Team Free Routine, while the 13-15 team claimed 3rd place in their category. In the Junior division, Emily Ruggier stood out with an impressive 2nd place finish in the Solo Technical event.

Athletes were guided by Artistic and Technical Coordinator Laura Marquez Urrego alongside coaches Hailey Ellul and Alessia Cardona Taliana. Valentina Marchi also served as a Technical Controller, while Jeremy Farrugia officiated as a judge.

Club President Claire Blake praised the athletes’ dedication, highlighting months of preparation behind the results.

With momentum building, the club now turns its focus to the upcoming Artistic Swimming Open National Championships in Victoria this April.
