Swieqi United, currently sitting midtable in the BOV Challenge League, gave two of their promising talents a chance to shine in the senior squad during their recent match against Pietà.
Ryan Thompson (born 2005) and Craig Micallef (born 2006) both made their first-team debuts, marking an exciting milestone in their young careers. The club and fans alike celebrated the achievement, recognising the hard work and dedication that earned them the opportunity to feature at Malta’s second-tier level.
The appearances signal Swieqi United’s commitment to nurturing homegrown talent while continuing their campaign in the BOV Challenge League. Both players will hope to build on this experience as the season progresses.
