SWIEQI PHOENIX CROWNED NATIONAL U17 VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONS

Swieqi Phoenix Volleyball’s U17 Block ‘N Roll team were crowned national U17 champions after securing a commanding 3–0 victory over Depiro in the final.

The trophy was presented by Branko Vlahovic, President of the Malta Volleyball Association, following the team’s dominant performance.

Swieqi delivered a confident display throughout the match, defeating Depiro in straight sets to seal the championship title. The victory capped off an impressive campaign in which the team remained unbeaten for the entire competition.

The success marks another milestone for the club’s youth programme. With this triumph, Swieqi Phoenix has now secured its eighth national U17 title in the past ten years, highlighting the strength and consistency of its development system.

The U17 Block ‘N Roll squad is supported by EY Malta, whose backing continues to contribute to the growth of youth volleyball within the club.

The latest title further reinforces Swieqi Phoenix’s position as one of the leading forces in Maltese youth volleyball, with the club continuing to produce strong performances and competitive teams across national competitions.
