Sold-Out Opening Race of 2026 Hudson Series Thrills Runners in the Three Cities

The 2026 Hudson Race Series powered by Nike kicked off in style with a sold-out opening race across the Three Cities, attracting local and competitive runners alike. The fast and scenic route through Cospicua, Senglea, and Vittoriosa proved popular, with athletes competing over 10km and 5km distances.
In the 10km race, Mark Herrera claimed the men’s title, closely followed by Clayton Abela. First female finisher Jemima Farley crossed just one second behind Abela, taking third overall. Brandon Saliba completed the men’s podium. Farley dominated the women’s race, with Ritianne Zammit second and Analise Xuereb third, separated by just 14 seconds.
The 5km race was equally competitive. John Mintoff took the men’s win, ahead of Keith Falzon and Alessandro Vizzini, while Charyl Fava led the women, followed by Brenda Cascun and Chrystal Parnis.
Race Director Charlie Demanuele thanked the Three Cities councils, Transport Malta, and volunteers for their support. The series continues on 12th April in Maqluba, with places nearly sold out.
